“With over 16 years in the culinary industry and a decade dedicated to fire cooking, I’ve developed a deep respect for the way open flame can be used not just as a cooking method but as an ingredient in itself. Fire adds complexity, depth, and character to every dish, transforming the simplest ingredients into something extraordinary.

My love for food is rooted in a philosophy of simplicity, seasonality, and bold flavor. Whether drawing inspiration from the refined techniques of Michelin-starred kitchens or the vibrant, unapologetic flavors of street food, my approach is always the same: let great ingredients speak for themselves. For me, food is about connection—to the ingredients, the fire, and the people who share the experience.

  • We understand that plans can change, and we strive to be as accommodating as possible. To ensure a smooth experience for all our guests, we kindly ask that you review and adhere to our reservation policies outlined below.

     

    Deposits

    • A 50% deposit is required to secure all Tasting Menu reservations.

    • A £20 deposit per person is required for Saturday lunch reservations.

     

    Cancellations & Amendments

    • Cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance of your reservation will receive a full refund of any deposit paid.

    • Cancellations within 48 hours of a Tasting Menu reservation will result in a £75 per person cancellation fee, with the deposit retained.

    • Cancellations within 48 hours of a Saturday lunch reservation will incur a £50 cancellation fee, with the deposit retained.

    • No-shows or failure to notify us will result in the full cost of the reservation being charged, including retention of the deposit.

  • Due to the nature of cooking on a communal grill the wild kitchen may not be suitable for all vegetarians and vegans as separate cooking surfaces are not available.

    Our menu is served sharing style as part of a communal meal. Due to this we may not be able to accommodate your dietary requirements. Please do contact us on 01993 822220 or reception@bullburford.com to let us know of any allergies and we will do our best to accommodate you.

    By confirming your reservation with us, you agree that you have no allergies or dietary requirements for your upcoming booking or if you do, we have been made aware of them.
